PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have struggled on offense, particularly in short yardage and the red zone. With Russell Wilson at quarterback, Pittsburgh has turned into a boom-or-bust team, but it has been unable to crack the end zone nearly enough.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin seems to be specifically focused on his team competing against Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who in Tomlin's mind is having an "MVP-caliber" season even if the team is only 4–7. Tomlin paid Burrow this high compliment when discussing this weekend's matchup.

For the first time, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks" series that will also feature the AFC North's other three teams during the final six weeks of the 2024 regular season.
